a good food:

Limes

Comments & thoughts

Fresh lemons (or limes) can be frozen whole, then ground up in a food processor for use whole or grated onto food, or even juiced in a citrus juicer. They will be somewhat soft (mushier) than a fresh fruit, but are still nutritious and give a real zip to food. And it is a great way to preserve them instead of having them go bad.
